Other ProGuard Jetski cover from Elite Boat Covers...

Ok, this is not a thread bad mouthing a company or anything like that, just expressing my dissatisfaction with a product. I just bought a ProGuard Jetski cover for my 90 Superjet from Elite Boat Covers so I would not have to keep using a tarp. Now, the website advertises the cover as being made from 100% waterproof fabrics... The night I installed it it rained and now the ski is full of water and the cover is see through. I sent an email as soon as I checked out the ski and received a call shortly after. I was told that the cover is NOT an outside cover but just for inside storage AND it is not waterproof... Now it appears that I have a cover that is useless to me since I was offered no kind of solution since I purchased the cheapest cover. Anyone need a non waterproof, inside only cover?

Now with all that being said I am sure the more expensive covers are better quality but the website should accurately reflect what the covers can and cannot be used for. I will however say that I was impressed with how quick I was contacted... Just wish more of a solution could have been offered.

I guess I should know better by now that a companies cheapest product is never the way to go. Sorry, had to vent.

U could have used a bed sheet to do what that thing did. Sucks u spent money on useless junk.
Fwiw I have used cover craft covers and have great luck and longevity. Sunbrella fabric. Great fit on factory hulls...not so great fit on aftermarket hulls but it works there too. There's plenty of threads on who likes what, of course oem is great but expensive. Good luck man.

Covercraft is the way to go. The Glen Turf ones will hold up for years. I have had one on my 550 since 2005 during every summer. It is finally starting to show its age. I have CoverCraft covers on almost all my skis. I just started switching to the Sunbrella Cover Craft covers last season.

Stay away from Sippery covers. They fade and dry-rot in just one summer in Ohio. I can't even imagine how short they would hold up down South.
