Prop Advice

Have 1990 superjet with 6m6 cases, stock reeds, intake, and carbs, 61x cylinders ported exhuast and bored to 83mm with pro-x pistons and head at 170-180 PSI and Factory B Pipe.

I jump waves and want to learn flat water tricks.
Nose Stabs, Barral roles, ETC.....

Dont care about top speed at all

What prop should I go with and that my motor will turn?

Thanks
DAN

With that set-up I'd go with a Skat-trak Swirl 12/17 cut-back 3mm.
What pipe are you running?

or if you go old skool and way cheaper I would use a Skat standard hub 10/18 cut back 3mm.

A Skat Free ride swirl is a copy of the Concord with the exception of the swirl leading edge. The Concord is about 20 bucks cheaper which is why we prescribe them the most for our SJ patients. ;)

so, given the perf you say you would like to see from the set up you list, I would suggest either a Solas Concord 13/15 -3mm cut back or the same in a Skat FR swirl.

Good Luck!

ive got the same year boat, same engine, 650 6m6 cases, protec head, and protec pipe.

Ive got a solas concord repitched to 12/15 and cutback 3mm, with a nozzle bored to 85mm, and a wet wolf stubby cone.

GREAT bottom snap for a 650.

Unless you are under 150 lbs, Id reccomend a VERY low pitched impeller with a 650, solas concord, OR skat swirl, which ever you can ifnd cheaper used or new, repitched to 12/15 or so.

He says he has the 6m6 cases, but his top end sounds like it can grab a degree more than 12 on the leading edge. IMHO.

Oh yes, that is true.

BUT, I ran the 12/15 on a stock 61x cases/cylinder with a head and pipe and it worked well as well.

you will have the power to pull a little more of an impeller, if you want.

Yea I will have stock 6m6 cases but am having someone on the sight port and bore a 61x cylinders out for me and the bore will be to have 83 mm pistons and he said the cubic inch will be 740

And he is also port matching my factoy pipe manifold
