I have a ported, limited 701, single carb and running a 12/17 swirl. Feels like its loading up down low.

I've been jacking with my carb and nothing changes. What do ya'll recommend?

Many time people confuse poor running off the bottom to be a rich condition, when its the opposite, 2 strokes with some timing advance like lots of fuel down low (unless you have a 10 minute no wake zone)

with your setup
personally I would try a 120 pilot 145main 2.3 n/s and lower the pop off to 18 psi

when you grab a hand full of throttle does it die, fall on its face for a sec than scream , or blubber for 30 sec than run ?

This is where maybe i'm off base, but it seems to me like its blubbering. It doesn't die or studder, It just holds a steady rpm, reguardless of throttle position, and then it runs like you would expect.

My 61x limited setup works very well. It has 120pilot / 132.5main. Like my ex wife, I think you could be fat on the low side. Also you could be routing too much h2o into the water box and when you get to 1/2 throttle it's clearing out.....?? I chased what I thought was a carb issue on my 6M6 SJ for months. I put a flow control & restrictor before the FP stinger and the results were unreal. Couldn't believe what a difference it made on a 650.

I have a adjustable flow control. It turns out that i've been running it so 'dry' that it was melting the hose attached to my stinger. I opened it up Sunday during my last bit of testing.
When I get done riding, no water comes out of my exhaust, even after I opened it up.

I agree with the fat comment (about my ski, not your wife), but i've treated it as such with minimal results.
