Prop for 148 paired with a 735cc

I ordered a new engine i will be throwing my 735 in my hull for a temp setup. Looking for prop reccomendations, currently have a 9/15 skat and it worked good with my dasa 850.

Setup
SV1 hull
148 non set back pump
735 fresh and ported
Php mani
Vf3's
Dual 46's
Lightened flywheel
Msd enhancer
Tnt v2 system

I think 9/15 is a good pitch for anything but what do I know. Isnt that v2 pipe a little much for the 735? you comin to grayland freeride hommie!?

I'm thinking 9/15 is gonna be a little tall in a 148 pump, but I'm just gonna try it and see what happens. The v2 system is so tunable you could probably use it on a 650. Lol

My predator came with a 11/17 in a 148 pump I've been told that it works good so I'm sure the 915 will be legit. It's not like your flat water flipping the sv1....... Or are you?!? Lol

Did not try any FWFS with my dasa I'm hoping my new motor will have the power for those kinda shenanigans!!
What motor are you throwing in your predator?

You're probably gonna be way over propped. My dasa 850 wouldn't pull a10-18 I need to edit the title on this thread to "148 props for small engines"

Dave at impros emailed me, he recommends a 7/14 pitch for a 148 pump paired with a 701..

Never disagree with Dave, i was going to suggest an 7/13 you may want to play with cones and discharge and steering nozzle sizes as well

Ordered a prop pitch gauge from @DAG I will be tweaking my 9/15 down. I've got 2 different size cones.I'll be reporting back with what works best for me.

well im screwed. i ordered a dasa sticker so hopefully between that and the blowsion sticker i will have enough power to move it. I dont want it to run like its tied to the dock

Tested today with the 9/15, motor was slightly over propped. It ran extremely well, just could tell there is more to be had on the bottom.

Thats my same setup and i need a 11/17 in a 144 mag . It will be overproped with a 148 but it might work with a good bit of tuning

Tested today with an 8/14, ski is making really good power!!!

In my JM 781 with a maxx 148 Chris recommended a 6/15 and it seems to work well.

What carbs, pipe and electronics are you running?

Tested this weekend with a 7/14 and gained a tiny bit more bottom end!! I wish I had a couple nozzle sizes to play with for fine tuning. Overall this prop works great with my setup..

Instead of nozzles try a stubbie cone from Jetmaniac. Cheaper and quicker option
