How they get the numbers is made to be much more of a mystery than it really is. Sometimes oh that "looks" close enough seems to be what's used

100% agree. Never saw a prop from skat that was really what it was advertised. The only way to be sure is trust impros when ordering or make or buy a gauge.

Where are you guys getting the gauges and tools to repitch?

What's worse is even props sent to them for repitch and balance come back major inconsistent The top pic was right on and the Bottom pics was another that was way off. I've had much Better results bending them myself. But can't balance them after grinding down to get fitment to housing

Hey, at least he bothered to spend $10 on a gage this time before claiming his classic trail blazing stunts on tuning techniques! At least we know until 2 months ago he had no idea what any of his props were pitched to! hahah

I just like how torr starts a thread with a question only so he can answer it himself a few posts later with information he just learned recently so he can look smart.
Every body knows that any tuner worth a damn checks their props' pitch whether it's brand new or came from Impros or you're best buds basement.

Had a few 144 props that were checked by another's gauge I bought them from Didn't need a gauge till I bought few 148s that I wanted to bend myself.
The question still remains. What do others here think the pitch of the second prop is ?
