Prop size for 1100 with oem 155 pump?

Hey guys, recently finished my WDK stroked 1100 and got it tuned up decent, but now I’m looking into changing prop/pitch.
Currently I have a OEM 155 pump in with a stubby cone/bored nozzle and a 8/15 thinblade cut back 5mm

Ski seems to be missing most of the punch that I should be getting with the monster of a motor it has in it/total loss

I’m not sure if I need to go bigger since there really isn’t too much slip, if I need to go smaller for a better hit off the bottom and maybe the pitch is too big, or if I need to look into a different style prop?
Maybe I’m just used to a 148 mag pump haha

Anyone have any experience with 155 oem pumps in freestyle builds? Thanks for the help!

Interesting combo. Most everyone who drops coin for a 1100 will go for a mag pump too. Good luck and please post what you end up with.

No idea what prop you should use, but I can tell you I've been doing a lot of digging around on here about what pitch impeller for a smaller motor, and I can say there are a lot of people using 8/15 neighborhood with motors a lot smaller than 1100, so logically it would make sense you need bigger.

Take that for what it's worth (not much), just a dude repeating what was read on an internet forum.

Cheap way to get some direction might be to put a non-bored nozzle on it. If that is better, go steeper.

I have a ET 1100 tl pfp 49s fs and 155 mag, i ran a 9/16 att first but the hit was over realy fast. Changed i too 13/18 and it was mush better, i think you need too goe up in pitch

See that’s what I was thinking too, the pump seems to clear way to fast and lose its bite

I think I might go up to a 10/17 or 11/18 with my current prop and a repitch..

Im switching to a 8/16, thin blade, 3mm cutback with my PHP 1015. Might have a 10/16, that actually measured to 13/16 that i repitched to 11/16 if you are interested haha. Its cut back 5 or 7mm (cant remember), thin blade
