Blaster Prop suggestions for my 93 Blaster after some new additions

Hi everyone! I'm in the process of building my Blaster. I'll first list off the new additions to my ski: I ported the case to flow into the exhaust system, new ported intake with SBN46 carb off of a Wetjet Kraze, modified black pipe from a Wetjet Kraze (I have it all mocked up and and going to weld the stinger soon), Westcoast head with 31cc domes (still want to run pump gas), and an Ocean Pro Vortex FA. The choke plate has been removed and replaced with a primer. I'm still waiting on a deal on an MSD enhancer to raise the RPM a little but I'm not too worried as it should run pretty good with the new additions.

Now a few months back I picked up a brand new Solas YB-SC-K prop which is a 15-19 pitch for $30. I couldn't pass up the price but now am unsure how it will work with my motor configuration. The motor should pull pretty hard when it's done. Has anyone ran this particular prop? How was it? Thanks in advance for your input!!!

What kind of riding? Bottom end hit, I would run a hooker 9/15 or Solas 13/17 re-pitched to 13/15. For decent power all over, a Solas 13/17 is nice!

I ride on the lakes out here so no big waves or anything. Once in awhile I'll go around some buoys for fun. So that K prop would be to steep?

Call up Dave at impros, tell him what you want, Bottom end hit /Freestyle or Top End / Speed. You can send him your 30$ Solas and he can re-pitch it into whatever you want. Or put your blaster together and try the 15/19 and decide from there if you are happy or want more bottom end.

I have never ran one so I am not sure. The stock pitch is 15/18 but I am not sure how similar those numbers are with the Solas. (Every impeller manufacturer uses different numbers)

^^^^^^^Speaks the truth! Dave will point you in the right direction. I currently run a 13/17 Solas on my B1 and I have Ported 62T cases, a home porting on a 61x cylinder, Riva Girdled head, and Riva Red Pipe. Runs great in flat water and surf for me

I'm pretty closed to getting the Blaster back together. I welded the pipe today and got it painted so I'll be piecing it together soon. You think I should run the stocker and then switch to the K for a comparison? Anyone have any idea the cost for Impros to re-pitch?

Run the stocker, and see what you like and don't like about the powerband, and the talk to Impros and let them know what you are looking for from there.

I think they charge 100$ to repitch

I think I have everything in need so I should get this thing reassembled this weekend. Hopefully I can give it a quick run soon so I can let you guys know how it runs. I'm hoping it pulls good! This has been a fun build and hasn't ready cost that much.

I think I'm going to do the first runs with the factory prop so I have a fair comparison from the stock motor to after the modifications. I'm not sure really what to expect. On paper I should be making a good amount more power but I won't really know until I get it on the water. After I get it dialed in I'll see what my plan for the prop will be. I'm going to get a hold of Impros and see what they recommend and can do with my K prop.

I just am not sure if I'm going to make enough power to spin that K prop. I don't want to throw it on and get stuck with a pig on the water!
