I've heard SBT is actually pretty good. And cheap.

I have a hooker prop I need to send out myself. Outside if blades is worn down pretty good.

They are very good for welding/resurfacing the outside! Approx. $70 incl. return shipping. Do tell them you want the diameter restored to exactly 5.669" (144mm). About 1 week turn around.

Sbt huh,I was thinking all they did was stock prop exchange, nice to hear that they are good and fast, they arent as far away.

anyone have any experience with island racing, they seem to have a very tight tolerance for prop work from what i hear, but their website is not to functional and no one ever answers the phone or returns mesgs there...much like impros these days

Island Racing is a local business guy and a good friend. Carl is super knowledgeable and does great work just very hard to get a hold of during the busy season. Best way to reach him is through his Web site.
