Protec c2 head question

I picked up a protec c2 head from a blaster I bought. Its a half girdle oring head. My question is this, will my domes interchange with most common domes like adas or others? They are 82mm domes. I can get a pic of the dome if needed. I looked on protecs site and it says $39.95 per dome is the way I took it. Ive looked all over the domes and cant find a # for the cc either. With these oring heads does it matter whether your putting it on a 61x or 62t cylinder?

NO, the domes from ADA will not fit the pro tec head and visca versa. You can use the heads for either 61x or 62t. The compression will be slightly higher on the 62t.

Thanks. I'll probably just sell this head then and eventually get a ada due to the availability of the domes.

i have domes for that head if you know what size i can look in my box i have. the size is somewhere on the largest diameter on the side or back. i cant remember. its not easy to find. the domes need to be really clean.

You were right, the cc is on the edge of the dome, hard to see. Mines 33cc, good grief! I bet I have to run race fuel. My cylinder is ported so that might make my compression a little lower, I may throw it on there and see what it says.

let me know if ya need to change them out. cuz my motor is a 771cc motor and i have a box of 701cc domes.

Thanks man, I'll keep that in mind. Ive read that 35cc domes are about all your going to get by with on pump gas. What kind of compression am I looking at with 33ccs?

i think pro tec has a chart on thier website. but im not sure how things chance with porting and such.

Duh, I feel smart. I never seen that chart lol. 210 is what the 33cc domes should produce on a non ported motor, wow. Im thinkin I need around 35cc, Smurf do you have any? Its for a 701, 82mm.
