I saw the footage of this crash on one of the Youtube channels that record boats going in and out of places like Haulover Inlet. I was shocked when I saw this boat attempting to go through those waves and then hesitate and turn left right before the wave hit. Those guys on those skis did an amazing job saving everyone and the people on the boat are extremely lucky that they were there when this happened! Excellent job, gentlemen! You guys are absolute saints for doing such a heroic, selfless deed.

We were contacted by a reporter with a contract from the uscg to make a video on the importance of life jackets. Paid a small sum, and we recorded the interview. Andrew sold them the rights to his video. Idk how they got the drone footage as I had heard that Adam sold it to a website a long time ago. I never expected it would be published in a real magazine like Men's Journal. Weird and surreal for sure.

@McDog I remember watching that video 2 years ago of you rescuing the boy. It brought tears to my eyes then and did today as well, while I was at work wiping my eyes hoping nobody walked in on me. You guys truly saved lives and did God's work that day. Excellent job by you and your son. Having a 2 and 4 year old now, it really hits me in the feels. Taking the boat out with them tomorrow and I'll m so glad we have the best PFDs for our kids that fit properly. I can't imagine ever being in that situation as a boater and hope I never have to. If I was I hope to God amazing souls like you and your son are nearby.
