Pulse Lines on Novi

I just installed dual Novi 48mm carbs on my superjet. The diagram that came with the setup shows a pulse line coming from each manifold intake port with them being routed independently to each carb. My manifold only has one vacuum fitting, which is located on the driveshaft side of the engine. My question is this: can I 'get by' if I simply tee/wye the single fitting to each of the carbs or do they strictly require the independent routing as shown?

Thanks!

Thanks. I read somewhere that the stock Mikuni carbs have a master/slave relationship, but there is no slave here (both are independent or masters) so I didn't know if the pulse for each carb had to be driven off of it's individual port. My thought was maybe the pulse of each carb had to be properly timed with the vacuum of its cylinder or it wouldn't function properly.

The stock intake has a transfer port. On my php898 with novis the pulse are separate. On my php760 with oem 44s the transfer is filled and my pulse lines are teed.

I'm not a novi expert so I'd talk with your engine builder or maybe others will chime in

You need another pulse line, the other option would be restrict ng the return jet until the proper fuel pressure is obtained utilizing a single pump. However the best way is fual.pulse lines, very simple to do. Some reed spacers have a fitting for an extra pulse line. I have a set of 62t reed spacers I could drill and press a fitting into for your second feed if you're scared of drilling the case for second pulse line
