Pulse Plugs?

My gut reaction is it is just another gimmicky slick bunch of marketing BS to try and sell you an overpriced spark plug that probably won't do much but drain your wallet. If the spark is too weak then the fuel won't ignite and the engine will miss. If the fuel ignites then it does the work, all you need is an adequate spark, not a bolt of lightning. You don't really need a super high energy spark unless you are having a problem with the spark being blown out in a very high performance engine like on top fuel dragsters and the like. Personally I will stick with the $1.99 B8ES or BR8ES, if I need a better ignition source I will go with the MSD and get the benefits of a programmable timing curve and 30KV spark voltage.

Good find Paul. If they actually work, I'll buy them. But something tells me that just 1 drop of salt water will break them. :dead1: But for the freshwater guys?....

I would not pay $25 each for spark plugs to get marginal if any gain in performance. I think you can get a better $ per HP return by spending money in other areas or just do a better job of tuning what U got to produce the max available power.

It's a bunch of bull******** .If it really did work than everyone would have them already .
You only need a tiny spark to ignite your properly compressed charge and a hottor or more violent spark does not produce more energy .

the only thing that produces more energy is more compression or an avdance or change in timing .
HOTTER SPARK DOES NOT PRODUCE MORE POWER
What a crock of shiat :stups:

that torque page shows how their spark plugs increase compression in the cylinder. . . .

In a perfect world that would be true. The spark itself doesn't produce more energy, but the fact that more cycles result in combustion does! I doubt this does the same kind of magic that MSD does, but one of the most overlooked but imortant parts of MSD TL is the multiple spark discharge. Squish does a lot to mix the fuel/air charge but there are still pockets of charge there are either too lean or too rich to start flame propagation. That's the reason MSD TL does such a good job of making your carbs look tuned even if they're off a little. Long duration, multiple spark is a powerful thing. MSD was originally designed while trying to find ways to make "lean burn" combustion feasible. Very hot long duration multiple sparks have a much better chance of igniting a pocket that is ready to burn than does a short weak spark. A set of carbs that was formerly 1/8 turn sensitive with a standard charging setup will often be forgiving up to 3/8 turn or more w/MSD TL. Not saying these plugs work, but the concept may be sound. Changing plugs often is good too.

What he said... Save your $25 per plug and put it towards that Digital MSD TL, you will think that you just bolted a rocket booster on your ski. It is one of the items that you gain immediate noticeable power gains when you pull that brap actuator:headbang:
