Pump Alignment/Install

So I started messing around with my Chan and trying to get the pump aligned, but it's not going as planned. It seems every time
I get the driveshaft coming through the hole in the center from left to right (before I even mess with the up and down height) the pump mounting holes are off. I have read a few how to's but when I try to follow the steps the holes don't line up. Even when I try and just put the front two in they barely even line up perfectly. Any tips? I put an example of what I have below:

Yea man. I don't have a link because I'm on my phone. But it's in cold fusions site. I have one...id be willing to mail it to you if you could get it back within a week or so.

Yeah I found it, still looks like it requires you do do all the shinning and stuff beforehand and use the tool to test...man, I was hoping there was some sort of tool that would hold the pump/shaft square so all you had to do is figure out where to put shims and where you needed to clearance holes etc.

Also, no need to mail it to me, no telling when this thing will be done. Every time I touch it I get so frustrated I want to kick it off the stands lol

It helps you figure out the actual center between your Midshaft bolts. It's possible that your driveshaft tube is not perfectly centered.

Likely your shoe is not in square. How does your intake grate look? Mine was out of wack. I egged my holes on my pump out first. Later on my shoe installed by steve came loose so I was able to reinstall it in correctly. If yours has the epoxy he used you can probably just tap it out.

Oh and my shaft was not centered in the hole when all was said and done. It was however centered in the midshaft.

It could be, I don't have an intake grate, probably not going to run one. The intake tunnel is +2 so I don't have anything I could even mock up. As of now the shoe is just held in by epoxy it looks like, there are no screws. There's also no way I'm going to start fooling with the shoe, I'll notch the holes lol
