Freestyle pump lubrication?

What does everyone use for pump lubrication?

I use waterproof grease for the midshaft and a thin lightweight ''white'' brake lubricating grease for the rear bearing .., no issues so far ........ been testing the same bearings for 4 years now ! However Im Real fussy about what I put in the engine !!!

Has anyone tried a marine gear oil like sea doo uses? Will it stay in a yamaha pump or is a thicker grease required?

lots of us in th 615 use transmission fluid in th PUMP....

So instead of grease just ATF fluid? How do you pour it in? Through the cone?

I'm running a 148 Billet mag pump, with Redline pump oil just like a seadoo... Works great, no leaks.... PM Jetmaniac if you have any questions

i used sigle weight quicksilver. same stuff they use in the sea doo's. i was going to use some light weight motor oil but my dad had some of this left over. i did it before i put the pump in threw the cone hole. so far no problems. this is on a mag pump as well
