Freestyle Pump setup question.

hey guys,

I own a 2007 sj rocker nose and blowsion lowered hood.It will run the following setup and wanted to know the best impeller pitch for flatwater freestyle.

•772cc engine (flat top pistons)
•tbm flywheel
•rrp carbon exhaust
•38mm carbs with ported manifold and v force 2
•solas 144mm magnum pump
•msd enhancer,coils and wires

I am also running a trim kit if that makes a difference.

Appreciate any help or suggestions.

I'm running a hooker 9/15 with my 781 with a b pipe and it pulls good on the bottom. with your exhaust I would say a 10/16 would be a good prop.

I'd agree and say a hooker 10/16 for bottom end. A 9/15 would run out of punch

It will run fine. At that point its preference on what pitch you want. Who built the engine? I'd run it by them and see what they would say. More people will chime in with their opinions too.

On a side note, i'd run a 12/17 on that sucker but I like a bit more midrange for surf, and creeks.

I have similar setup in my wife's Freak. PHP760, PF exhaust, with a solas 144 mag and running a Hooker 10/16.

I had that impeller when I first ported my 701cc. Custom cut back 10/16 but then sold it because I decided to let freestyle connection build me an engine.

The 10/16 should work good, but I'd get the advise from your engine builder.
