pump tie down

I remember seeing a picture of a bracket made to bolt to the pump so you can use it as a tie down point for transportation. Anyone have any info? Cant seem to find it.

I think Thrust Innovations had a prototype down in Daytona. I haven't seen anything come out yet.

Don't think I'd want anything used to tie down or tow attached to my pump or bolt and insert but that's just me.

What's wrong with a single bow eye or two on the sides of the tray?

No bow eye, or any on the sides of the tray. Personally i would trust a pump mounted bracket over a bow eye.

Inserts can and will rip out. I have never seen a Stern Eye rip out. (Bow is the front of the ski)

I havent seen stern eyes rip out either, but i have seen lots of bow eyes.
If the ski didnt have fresh turf i would put 2 in the tray (stern)

That was just a piece of stainless home bent and drilled. Simple to make.

A stern eye won't ruin fresh turf. The overlap of the eye will cover it. Or, drill from the bottom just till you break through the glass, and cut open the turf slightly so it's a tight fit
