Freestyle PVC Beach Cart

sherman ,time to fire up the way back machine,( o.k. mr peabody) ! o.g. beach cart circa ??????? still gets us out of a jam when we take the show on the road .great for the river ,or on july 4 th when our local watering whole gets jammed up with people .the city wont allow more people in unless you are trailerless ,thats when we bust out "o.g. pvc cart" and let the comments/insults/jokes start flying on who's ski's heavier as we have to all help hump em up and down the long steep sketchy at the top dirt trail to go ride the deep spot at the point.... good times.

Are those axles metal or just pvc? How do you attach them to the PVC pipes?

Is this strong enough to ride up on to or do you get off and pull it up there?

built a 3" pvc dock over the weekend for my ski.. got tired of the rocks on my "beach" chewing the crap out of the hull

hope the ski is still out there in a week or two when i go to the lake again

Old post nice cart. Cost to build and do you have plan you used. Could get close with the pictures but wow that looks sharp and I bet works well!

I have the same cart, works fine, ill keep it as a back up. I did just ordered a Ferrell fab cart though because I dont like needing two people to lift the skis on it, and two people to pull it through fluffy sand... but the pvc works.

i know this is an old thread, but thought it was interesting that i just bought that exact beach cart by "SkiDock Products". It was used obviously. I payed $400 and honestly it's not in mint condition. I definitely over payed for a bunch of PVC glued together, but it's better than $1k for a Factory Zero or similar. I hope it works! lol

Not gone back and read the thread, but I do not think those are regular "PVC"........ Thinking some form of extruded plastic.

I tend to agree. It feels much better than PVC and there are joints that are not off the shelf.
