Question about B pipe install and carb setting on 02 SJ

Im about to install my new SJ B pipe Thursday since my Coffman started to crack. Anyway, I was wondering if anybody had any pointers or helpful hints they have found along the way on this install.
Second, I need help with the high/low speed settings. I have seen a few post that you have to drill a plug(emissions?) out. My SJ is a 02 and I cannot see these plugs anywhere. Mine has what looks like factory T handle needles or they are slotted for a flat screwdriver. Are the plugs just on newer models or what? Thanks

They would be talking about the tamper proof caps on the carb high and low speed adjusters. If it's an 02, you won't have this problem.

The only things I can suggest...

- put the silicone couplers on the pipe and head pipe so they sptretch a little bit to make them easier to install (leave for a day or so)

- When installing chamber, push the stonger in past your waterbox and then work it back onto the head pipe (helps to take the straps off waterbox).

- When tightening the chamber clamps, pull the stinger end up as much as you can without the coupler coming off, tighten the clamps and do the same for the front to the waterbox. You are basically using the couplers to keep the pipe off the engine. If, once installed, you are able to give the chamber a firm push, and you feel it clunk, it's not right, and will hit/run on your engine. Keep lifting, tightening until you get it right. If you can make it hit, it WILL hit in the surf/landing from jumps.

As for jetting. Leave it stock, and see how it goes. Don't be too trigger happy and keep checking cylinder temps and plugs. Work your way up from there.
