Surfriding Question Of The Weekend!

Yea i defiantly addicted to the sport, im from south Louisiana so i ride all year. i get to ride freshwater all year round and in the winter during duck hunting season i get to ride surf in the afternoon after i do some bird hunting in the morning. duck hunting camp is 25 min from the beach.

That's awesome Devin, funny thing is goose hunting up here starts on Thursday and temporarily shuts down for a week on the 15th. So I booked 10 days off from work to do the hunt, guess what I will be doing during the afternoon when I am not in my blind? ;) You know it! Barrel roll practice sessions all the way man!

Most people go to the doctor when stressed, I go to the lake

Agreed!

I have been blessed with a herniated disc in my lower back thanks to some idiot passing out at the wheel and practically hitting me head on on the highway. So when it acts up during ski season I get out on my ski, best cure ever. I feel the spinal erector muscles start to burn so hot that I need to do a few subs to cool them down, after a few rounds of that everything comes back into alignment and the pain is gone. Heck I have been in such bad shape that walking was a chore, 20 minutes on the ski...problem solved

I need more than a hug. I need a money tree like in the show duck dynasty so I can build wavepool...AND afford to ride it ery day.

Riding is one of the few things that completely takes my mind off of absolutely everything and lets me relax. That's the beauty of it!
Except when things go wrong with my ski.. Then all hell breaks loose and everything gets worse.

MAD Addiction here....Every since I quit riding dirtbikes..Skis are all I got. Living in Oklahoma blows...only getting to ride like 3 months out of the year don't cut it...

Its an addiction to the point I would rather work on my boat than do anything else when not riding. Fortunately this sport allows plenty of that LOL

The wallet does take a hit. I cant imagine how much $ I spend during the life of one ski from build through riding and eventually selling to start all over again
DO not become addicted if you cannot legally fund it. You have been warned.

I am the opposite, I use to like to work, tinker on the skis. Now, if it breaks, I dont even want to fool with it.
