Questions on the handling differences of the gen 2 and gen 2+ sj hull.

There is a big chance that I am going to be buying a 2005 superjet with many engine and tray mods on it in the next couple days. But I don't know how it handles in comparison to a newer hull. I read on Wikipedia that models 96-07 have a gen 2 hull and that models 08-20 have an upgraded gen 2 hull with a different bottom. How do these hulls handle differently and if anyone knows how does the 05 hull on the superjet compare to a 98 sxi pro. I like how the hull on the 98 sxi pro feels (though I may just be used to it) and am worried that the new ski wont be as playful. I have ridden on the newer gen 2+ hull but don't know what a gen 2 hull feels like.

The 05' will be more playful like jumping and tricks, the +08' more for slalom, racing. Both styles of riding are fun so why not get the 05' and add tubbies and rear sponsons, that's what I did and love the way it rides, especially with an extended ride plate. I got all my parts at standupparts.com

There is only gen 1 and 2. The bottem hull is the same from 90-07 they all ride the same.

I rode my wifes gen 1 with tubbies and f'ing hate it with a passion. I like a clean gen 1 bottem hull, square nose or round nose.
