3M adhesive remover... don't use aircraft anything on anything composite... or painted.. or gel coated... 3M adhesive remover... 100% composite, gel, paint safe... comes in either spray can or pour can with spout.. apply it, run over it with a razor scraper at a 10 degree angle to surface(as a scraper), apply again, wipe off...
btw.. if you would have used a heat gun from the get go.. you'd be done...
