Custom/Hybrid quick vid of top speed run on my superfreak..

I went riding over the weekend and brought along a contour gps camera expecting to get some surf footage,but no great waves. then i realized i could gps the freak to see where it ends up for top speed, ski specs are -4.3 carbon,dasa 10mil 970, pump gas,C4 chamber,144 setback mag,14/19,85mm nozzle,short cone. saw 62mph on gps, prob a slight bit more there in calmer water. kinda makes me wanna prop it up and put a stock cone/nozzle on it just to see how much more is there.. anyone else here do gps runs on their am hull setups?
glad it passes the 10 sec test.. (really glad) lol

Tubbies on the Rocket must make a big difference then because I can go WOT on mine and it's stable. I'm like Vinny tho, it scares me to go wide open for more than a couple seconds with my 1200.

I raced a Seapoo 951 XP Limited (top speed ) and pulled on the top end on my WDK Rok hull w/ a 771 and 10/16 prop. Not sure how fast I was going but those things are supposed to do 60 in stock configuration.

Thats friggin cooking for sure... i'd be nervous as F doing that with a motor that big. Great hull, well built motor and skills to boot.

Crazy! I can barely hold wot, my SF just jumps out of the water and porpoises like crazy. Even with all my weight forward. But then again it is more of a flatwater setup than a get somewhere in a hurry setup.

years ago, my first -4.3 i did 61 or 63 on the gps. with a wdk1200 in it. i was having tem chase me on his ski on a different day and promptly fell over when i weighted the ski wrong and tried to turn in at speed haha. if you have a badass you can stand on the ski and take it over 60mph with out a problem. i've prolly got the circus around 50-55 on my knees.

My -4.3 with the 754 and 140 mag did ~60mph and it was very easy to hold that speed.
It went slightly faster with the 1000 but I am not sure how much.
