Freestyle Quickstyle motorsports vengeance hull review

A local guy here has one. His is a very thin poorly built hull. All the strap tie downs ripped out for the tank and water box. The thing takes water on from the bond line. Fit and finish of the ski is a 3 out of 10. Hood cracked, split and fell apart.

i hope this isn't the norm. But his has been in our shop so many times now to fix, glass, and reseal its not even funny.

I've been rocking one for a year now with absoulty zero issues. I have no complaints with how it rides, it's actually quite stable for as short as it is.

The guy Paul here i think is happy with the ride. Just the build quality was the problem.
As far as i know everything was told back to Qucikstyle not sure how it was resolved.

It's very flingable. The 835 and mag pump is good in it, going with a 3 mil stroker over the winter. I need to get back into shape though cause it kicks my a$$ sometimes. I'm barrel rolling and growing the ballz for a back flip.

Larry was a super cool cat to work with on my build. Any time I had questions he was on the other end of the line to help me.

My vengeance hull is a complete hunk of :):):):). It leaks water from the seam, way too thin all factory mounts Are pulling off, I have installed two pumps just to keep it afloat. The only thing good about it is that it is that it is a great handling ski, you can really kick it around when it's not full of water. Larry is really nice but phone call only goes so far. I would recommend saving up for a Rick or roc they are more of a real company that need to sell products that work. QSM is like a couple of dudes in a a garage unless you live in Ontario CA where you can bring it back to them.

I got one this year, still working on the build, I can give you a review once I get it in the water. The finish definitely needs to painted for sure. Some of the mounting bolts have some issues too. I ended up using awlgrip 545 primer and polyurethane awlgrip top coat paint. I am not sure if it has a unwaxed gel coat or not, but I think it needs to be painted. I also dug out some of the soft spots and repaired them with bondo fiberglass repair.

Quick Question, what did you guys use for gas tank mounts and water box mounts. I was thinking of epoxying aluminum mounts on to the fiberglass.

Quickstyle Motosports vengeance hull review

QSM is working with me to cure the issues with my hull, I was too quick to say that they don't stand behind there products. They are going to ship my complete ski back to CA fix any problems test and send it back to CT. Sorry QSM for my hast in writing anything negative about your company and products.

Was QSM aware of your problems before you posted your 'review' here? Had you tried resolving the quality issues with them in the past?

I can answer yes to that because we reglassed in the waterbox and gas tank mounts. After spring wavedaze when the hull first went out. Paul was on the phone with them the min after he came out of the water from the first ride.

The nice thing about Larry (QSM) is he always answers the phone, he is always willing to help, and he is trying his best to support the sport (which goes a long way for me).

Being a beginner to flat water, I have a lot to learn on set ups, riding, and builds. This hull should be good for me and was somewhat affordable. One feature that made me pick this hull was all the room in the engine bay, i really like that feature.

I'm sure flat water is a lot different then free riding/ rec riding, so my review will probably be about the ergonomics of the hull. Eventually I'd really like to learn those rolls you guys are always doing, I just have to work my way up to that.

Sounds like it became high priority for QSM once it came to a public forum.
