R&D Performance Gone?

I'm just working on putting together a little ski video of times past as a compilation, and I figured I will add in some logos to spice it up a touch. I went to check on R&D's site to grab a logo and it's not their site anymore. It's now home to a computer supply store. Did R&D go under? If so when did this happen? I'm sure I was just looking at their site within the last year or so.

Well that's disappointing. I wonder if anyone will grab up their inventory and start up something new with it? Bring some more creativity into the sport.

They were in Santa Fe Springs CA and shut down last year.

Supposedly there is someone in Havasu that is going to be re-releasing some of the parts...... Who knows if this will happen.

They had some good stuff. I have their blue pump cone stuffer thing to work with my Impros 9/15 big hub, it does make a difference. I also have a set of their reed cage stuffers which I used to run. It would be nice to see that stuff back on the market and if someone does take into it, it would be very neat if they bring back the pipe lineup.

R&D was/is good stuff. I had lots of R&D on my 550sx back in the day. One of my favorite pump intake grates was by them, ran it on my superjet. Intake manifolds are still floating around and are good!. Old stuff is not always bad!.
