race gas makes me sick.

Everytime I siphon race gas I get a sore throat for days..
Does this happen to anyone else..

lowes sells a jiggle siphon for like 7.00 bucks. works great

Syphoning is really simple with a CLEAR hose. Blow through the hose for a couple of seconds then give two quick sucks, not the slow timid ones. Get the fuel moving fast and quit before it gets near your mouth.

Tetra ethyl lead is extremely poisonous. I used to breath it in for 27 years daily.
Had a bad poisoning ONCE transporting pure TEL. Out of five of us in the vehicle (the stuff ate through the rubber seal of the canister, 20 liters), three ended up in the ER, and the driver and myself had bad headaches, hallucinations and nightmares for a couple of days.
