As for the IJSBA situation, I have no idea if it is going to be sanctioned the only real way I imagine it would be is for the event insurance? Either way I love boober but from what I have seen Mike Young knows how to make it happen quickly and the most efficiently. I dont think It will cost or require a whole lot to enter this race. Either way its going to be worth it, especially if the surf gets a little nasty for the race, smooth water sucks!

Well I imagine this is going to be one cluster F then...because Boober told me I was in but I am not a IJSBA member and I have not heard anything back saying I need to join....which I probably won't do for 1 race so.....

I'll plan on not racing then but feel free to use me as a back up if needed....

the fact that you have to have a IJSBA membership will insure it's not a cluster F. There are always registration fees and so on when there is a race. It's for insurance purposes like I stated before. Got to pay and sign waivers.

no they had to register and get a IJSBA license... I would not do it any other way.

It was the first one and we learned what works and what doesn't.
