racing in canada?

There hasn't been any racing out our way for several years (6ish years)...but I think they still have a circuit on the westcoast. If your interested in racing just go down to region 6, lots of guys down there, good competition and they but on a better event than we ever had.

region 6..... i would say region 8 but who knows what rule structure we will have in the region... safe bet region 6

i had seen that region 6 was the closest unfortunately im one of those guys who cant visit the states, hopefully by 2010 tho, prolly be a while before i had a ski worth trying to race anyway , i just seen some video and it looks like a hell of a time trying to figure out more about it any good sites to check out?

The practice out on burlington beach every thursday night but its a bit far. there is a decent course and 8 to 12 riders or so

I have been hoping for a racing association to come back to Ontario for years now. We used to have the OJSBA (Ontario Jet Sports Boating Association) but they dropped out of it. The West coast organization is called Klipper racing but he wasn't helpfull at all when I asked about any affiliates or new racing organizations in Ontario. In fact his exact reply to me was "nope, don't know nothing about Ontario, can't help you". It would have been nice if he said he will check into it but what can do ya do right? Where are you loated in Ontario? It would be great if a bunch of us could meet up and get something of our own started.

Not a sanctioned race, but there's the MJ cup at Burlington Beach again in August.

hey a group off us ride south of sarnia in the st.clair river really none of us have got into racing but i have been checkin it out, but hey if there are any rides or anything im sure i could get a few guys together and make a day out of it

The Burlington Beach race would be fun to attend. I'm not really close to T.O. at all...stuck in Kingston where the racers aren't :thumbsdown:
