^^^ tried to get something like that passed with both the IJSBA and AJ and never could get any traction. Also tried with an 800/1100 open spec runabout class. IMO, that would have been huge, but again, couldn't get the powers that be to show any interest. It's tough, there are already too many classes, so I get the hesitance to add additional ones, but there are plenty of classes in racing that have 2-3 riders on the line and at some point, you have to start building classes that will bring out the masses.
To be honest, I'm so glad I am out of it now. Putting together rules is a HUGE pain in the a$$. For every one person you make happy, there are 5 who are pi$$ed they didn't get exactly what they want. And, especially in classes with multiple types of skis like Blasters and Hx's. It would probably be easier with SXRs and SJs because they are fairly close in terms of design and handling on the track.
And no, Big Kahuna, I am done. I had 15 fun years racing, but after my daughter was born, just would rather do other stuff.
