I cut the whole seat section out of a gen1 x2 so it will have a function seat with storage area underneath.

Never been a big fan of splatter paint, but the stickers and turf are making it look way better!

What's up with the big spacer on the steering arm?

In order to lower the tubes i ended up flipping over the top bracket and steering plate and put the steering on the top. So i had to make that bracket cuz the steering cable mounts on the underside.

Cool build! You probably got it worked out so the hood swings away with the pole hinge but this made me think of the way Lee stone locks his pole to the hood when he superflips. I think its a seadoo seat latch.
