Rage Composite Works carbon creations for 2013

Josh and I are set to begin building up this years demo boats to take "on tour" this season. We are hoping to make it to wave daze with these. They will be our personal boats for this year and available for test rides wherever you may see us. This time around they will be full carbon, along with some fancy little trinkets we are still keeping to ourselves.

this finally showed up- so I guess it's time to get moving. For my boat this year I plan to have the hull and hood be somewhere in the high 60 low 70lb range. For power I will be upgrading from my 863 to an 1100. I will be sticking with the 148 setback until we change up the molds to run anything bigger. Stay tuned for pics of the progress. I'm more excited than a kid at Christmas!! I'm debating on taking a roll of carbon and putting it on the dresser.

Testing has started. Comparing different layup schedules to get desired strength and thickness. A few more days finishing up orders and we will be diving right in.

wow really your testing layup schedules, you mean you can't just put out a carbon lightweight ski like some of these other hull builders that get skis done in a matter of weeks and never talk about how they got their layup. good to see your putting in the labor and time that other builders got handed to them:hail:

Too much $$$ to just wing it. These 2 will be demoed hard all summer. They have to last and be a good representation of what we can do.

That thing looks awesome... so nice for being straight epoxy... I love the work you guys do... and the way you guys are so humble and just build super nice stuff !!!!!

Cut out for my foot holds tonight, decks got trimmed and prepped the bottom deck mould to build Brian's carbon on Wednesday. Damn this is going to be a sweet ski.
