Rage composites Brawler gen 1

Looks like your quite a ways away from me. But Any body that's interested in the brawler hull or a php 898 is welcome to ride mine. I'm located in central Ohio. I ride lake Erie, Delaware lake, and alem Creek on a regular basis.

its a good drive for me, but i have in laws in that area we may visit this summer or spring.

about 8 hours each way for me.

If the weather doesn't clear up enough by the time or builds are finished. I'm pretty sure I'll be taking a trip down south to ride. Not sure how far south probably just far enough to get unfrozen water with temps in the upper 40's/50's.

Well I took my brawler out for the second time today. 1st time I only rode for a few seconds before having to stop. This time was about 15 minutes before stoping for minor hood issues. I guess I'll start off with some back ground info on myself. I'm 6'5" & 260lbs. I've been riding stand ups for 3 years now started on a square nose. Then moved on to a WDK rev. And now my brawler. OK so now on with the review.

Day 1- I back the trailer into the water and let the ski warm up on the trailer. In very nervous at this time and I'm thinking to myself there's no way I'm gonna be able to ride this little a$$ hull. Unhook and push her in and start off instantly I notice how easy it is to climb on to my knees at low speed in the no wake zone. Ride out a ways and decided to stand up "thinking OK were gonna go over now" because I gotta long ways to go to get up. And to my surprise again that thing was very stable. I stood up kicked into the foot holds and there was very little side to side rock while kicking in. At this time my confidence is starting to rise. Go to turn to head back towards the dock fell off and that ended that ride.

Ride 2- fixed a couple things that kept me from riding the 1st time and I'm ready to get some good tray time in. Back in the trailer unload the skis start her up and take off slowly to warm her up. Decided to leave the boat ramp area and head towards the beach probably 1/4 mile maybe 1/2 mile. Most of it on my knees this time while riding on my knees notice how large the tray area is definitely more room than my rev and my sj had. Very comfortable. I get toward the beach area and stand up and start riding. The feel of the ski is controlled. She rides Strait and true with no twitchiness. Make a few large turns to get used to the feel and she rides very steady. I didn't have to use my legs allot to correct and balance out the turn. I continue to make smaller and smaller turns until I fall off. Climb back on and decided to make a few bunny hops just to see how well she comes out of the water. And that's were was let down a little bit. She didn't have any pop to her at all. She wanted to ride nose down and stable. To rcw 'S credit I did not use the ride plates they provided. I used a cut up wammer plate that's like twice as long as the rage plate. So I'm going to play with plate length and find a good medium. I decided to rate a few categories from 1-10 1 being as low as you could get and 10 couldn't be Any better. I'm very hard to please

Low speed stability- 7
High speed stability-8
Comfort-8
Ease to ride-9 very surprised
Pop-3
Fun-5 not enough time yet
Looks-7
I'm sure fun and pop will both go up as I get more tray time. This Was my honest review I will write another in a month or 2 of riding.
