Rager, Up for Grabs !
Anyone want to step up ! If not It will either Die or go to some off boards that wants to do it ! I dont have the time, money, or want !

I will still attend and rip with everyone, but I am not hosting Crap !

I have been asked by a local shop.... no one steps up.
That shop gets it !

I started it several years ago, I gave it to you as a friend & felt it would be in good hands............. Dig deep into your concience & do the right thing!

I took it over because you were helping with katrina.
For the riders by the riders... If someone wants to persue it, isnt that better than letting it die ? Who cares who does it, as long as we are
getting riders together to all ride together... Why let it die if there
is people/company jumping to get it on ! Is this site and freerides
for personal things, or for the sport and freeride ???

Grassroots...............


Just set a date, and let people show up and just ride.................

no competions........ No BS......... decide where you want to eat and go eat...........


Our original Lanier rides were like this............ Organizing them has taken some of the fun out of it....... granted it is nice to see guys from across the country, but the stress and BS sometimes takes alot of fun out of it.

Right thing would not let it die because, your not here, and I cant afford the time and effort....

I dont see a problem.... I dont give a Crap who gets it... Better than letting it die....

So you would rather have a freeride, that about 100 riders look foward to Die ! It could continue by another shop/people.

I am lost for words.... Watch, this will get deleted... site for personal use !

heck, I am 3 hours from Lanier, Wildwood is 3 hours away and we have set up several rides, you dont have to be near to set a date......


Hey, lets all meet at Lanier/ or Jersey and ride? What date? OK, that works, see you there!

I know you weren't able to make it to Daytona, but do you really think that the Daytona Ride would have been better if Nick hadn't done all that work and would have just made it a grassroots ride?

I'm sorry, but that's almost an insult to Nick and all that he did for the Daytona Ride and all that he did for the sport for that matter.

I know exactly how much work Nick put into the ride. And he also understands what I am talking about..........

Our Lanier Rides 2002-2004 were just rides we said "Hey, lets meet at Lanier" want to guess at how many people showed up??

maybe i'm missing something here, but why is there a push to 'deorganize' the rager?

Absoutely..... I totally agree. These rides are time consuming and believe it or not costs the organizers $$$$ out of their pockets..... If you don't have the time or money - you most certainly should see if someone else can handle the organizing and still keep the ride what it was always meant to be.....Friends getting together all over the country to enjoy each other, enjoy the sport they love and ride!!!!:Banane01:

Of course.....I am assuming this is being done in the spirit of the ride and for all the right reasons......:biggthumpup:

It's my back yard I'll be there either way don't see why panties are in a bunch. The date is XXX if people want to show up great if not we'll still be there just like any other weekend.
IF someone has the time and resources to promote it great have at it. I don't see how anyone can own an event for riders by riders and dictate who wants to put the efforts into organizing it. Just my opinion I am a ride thinking about other riders.

let's just set a date, and who ever wants to come can come no need to make it organized and formal make it like the lanier rides from back in the day like harrison said. show up and ride if you want on this date, if you don't no big deal.
