I messaged you last year- glad to hear that your bot came in. I live in Cary and ride mostly at Lake Gaston and sometimes at Jordan Lake. Early afternoons during ride season, many local stand up riders meet at the left most side of the left most ramp at the Farrington Boat Launch in Jordan Lake for race practice. Unless there is a race scheduled, you'll find 4 to 10 various stand ups. Several world champs come out to practice on the buoy course, and it is a really friendly environment with good people. I work in Morrisville now, off Aviation Pkwy. I've heard of another riders group that meets Wednesdays at Sharon Harris Lake, but I've never met up with them.

Sorry to bring up old post, but do any of you still ride in the area? I am new (first season on stand-up) but have been riding mostly Jordan and Falls so far on the weekends.
