Randy Laine is one of the greatest riders ever. His wave knowledge and skills are seldom topped. I really do miss the good ole days at Oceanside with him.

If you have ever met Randy you would know he is super kind and willing to share knowledge. The first couple of times I met him at the launch in oside I did not know who he was. Riding with randy is good stuff and I always think of his cool running in the air move.

Two things that come to mind.

Since I am in my mid 40s it's great to see an older guy ridin and tearin it up so well. It inspires me and that there is still many more years for me, cuz I do wonder sometimes.

Secondly..., how freakin jealous I am of all you guys who live close to the ocean and ride surf! I'm stuck in Michigan.
