raped fx-1 backflip project ski (now getting xs1000)

he was looking like a nervous school girl on her first date when i went to fire it up for the first time! don't ever ground the msd coil's out to yourself. the spark will jump 3-4 inches and shock the ever living :):):):) out of you. it took about 10 minutes for my hands to quit shaking haha.

super duper fat. it's pretty tame at the moment. the impeller needs to be a 12-19 i think. it's not getting into the power the way i think it should. overall i think it's a success!

yes rode all day sat. no problems.. i love the way it rides.. i can still ride like a normal ski and the nose is not way up.. i can't wait to try a bob.. i bet the only difference is the width of the bob..

and lucas those nose stabs are insane!! 6 ft of air at least with about 8 or 10 ft distance so sick!!!

Got to ride it on saturday. Fun to ride. It is so small and short, it is like you are wearing it. Handling is better than I expected.
Power needs to be dialed in and prop seems to slip out of the hole.

Brett and Blake got it done at the last minute with little problems, impressive for a build of this complexity.

Had to order a fitting with a jet in it for the return line.. should get all the power after that they think.. if all works out I will hopefully get some riding footy

Go to a welding supplier and get a .035 size mig-welding tip, slip that bad boy down in there, and your good to grow. Thats what I did.

he waited for the t. oddest thing. it was pouring at his lake. like dropping 2 inches a hour and my house. 3 miles away hadn't seen a drop all day. so no riding today. hopefuly tomorrow will be a little better.
