Rattling Noise HELP! Power Factor Pipe, Bendix?

Brawlin' n Flippin'
I got a rattling noise coming from my engine, im thinking its coming from the bendix? It was doing the same thing last year in my stock 650, nothing ever happened. pulled everything apart and everything was fine, no shearing at all on bendix/ flywheel.

This year i moved my stock 650 electronics over to a 760 motor, with ada head, full spec carb, pfp pipe and the noise is a bit louder. Its more annoying than anything.

See vid link.

Funny you posted this my new build does the same thing it really pisses me off but i have both new bushings and both washers and spring installed. Possibly a bad bendix. Sounds horrible..

Ok i fixed mine today. Really hated to take it apart but it wasnt that bad. Both bushing were wore out. You would be best to fix yours now if the bushing wears to far it will wear your starter splines faster and possibly strip them out. No more noise.......

Bendix bushing there are 2 one in bottom case half others in timing cover replace both. Make sure there are 2 washers and a spring in the timing cover and a washer behind the bendix. It sticks to the back of the bendix.

I know this was a while back but did you end up figuring out what this noise was coming from? My motor is making the same noise and I can’t figure out what it is..
