Other RCW Brawler talk

Here is an update. We will now be offering a hood liner. We started making the mold last night.

And the tail plate finally has a new mold. (We hope, we had a small mishap with the flange coming off during the first layer of glass but I think we can save it)

Lost my partner today due to the early arrival of his newborn son, I got some help from my wife and nephew with finishing up the hood liner mold. I hope it comes out nice. There is a ton of time in this! I can only imagine the time that would go into "designing" a hull.

Looking good! I was fortunate enough to test ride the brawler and check out the shop. These guys are top notch and continue to improve this already fun hull! I am hoping to get one in the surf come spring

Congrats to JP79 on the new addition!

That didn't last long, ran out of heating oil for the shop at the wrong time! It's now set up in my kitchen. I still wonder why my wife hasn't left me yet?

Hood with liner = 10.5 lbs in glass epoxy layup. If no breathers are cut into the hood it will float on its own with the sealed air chamber inside. All hoods will be sent out sealed. Up to the consumer to put breathers in.

Another note about this hull before we start an FAQ page. We use 1/2" pex and pex fittings unless otherwise requested. We just foud out a wammer trim cable will not fit. A thrust and x metal cable have been successfully used. Our bulkhead is flat where the midshaft mounts. If you feel the need for space behind the bearing in the midshaft you will need a cold fusion spacer.
