this ski belongs to a good customer of mine that purchased the ski from Mr Malone himself about 5 years ago. this thing was so water logged that the bond line sat underneath the water .
The ski was built by Wamiltons for Eric to compete in the 2001 season at which I believe he won Pro Freestyle that year.

So far, I have cut the entire tray in 2 sections and spent a good day removing some seriously wet foam. Once completed, I will be sealing all the areas with 5200 and putting styrofoam instead of two part closed cell foam as well as installing some drain plugs to the rear. this way, there should never be another water intrusion issue.

Also, the left foothold had a severe crack in it!:Eyecrazy:

Thats a cool boat! Are you doing anything else to it besides refoaming??

I will doing another award winning turf job after the de-foaming!:Banane26:

I also did some work on the engine and tuned the carbs. This boat came from Colorado, so some things had to be changed to adjust to sea level.
