simple explanation. Leading edge is your bottom end. this is where it starts to grab the water and create thrust. Trailing edge is your top end. this is where the water is leaving the prop and giving your mid to top speed power......... this is a simple description.

Cambered blades prime faster and run smoother than straight blades at low hull speeds. Flatter leading edges dont experience as much flow separation so that a boundary layer can draw water over the top of the blade. This makes a noticeable difference under low speed acceleration. At high speed the pump is being force fed so a steeper leading edge may go a little faster. The trailing edge angle affects engine load.
