One thread is enough dude. It has to do with keeping this site the way it is. If you don't like how it's run, then leave.

Whoa relax dude. Instead of telling him to leave just link the thread that explains the 5 post rule where everyone posts so they can message

Never mind Rosie. I just read his other posts this kid seems angry at the world cause his ski is broken.

I will have to give one a lick. I know it smelt like burning as it fried and oozed black goo out of the wire area. I knew something was up when I blew the fuse and then by passed it.

I'm in the same boat as y'all right now. I was hoping to attend CanAm this year...kinda pointless with a toasted crank. Last Friday I went out and everything seemed right on the money, power was potent, the ski ran perfectly...or so I thought. One high speed run and sudden lock up. The ski slid to a halt and the starter just did one of these slow.... ruh...ruh.........ruh. I let it sit for a short spell, tried it again and it just barely fired back up. It was not happy though, sluggish, gutless, it eventually came back and freed up but was definitely voicing its opinion deep within the engine compartment. I sweet talked it back to the ramp, trailered it and did the drive coupliing temp test...wow was it hot. The next day I tore it apart and wouldn't ya know it, the crank bearings are spent. I guess they earned their keep though, 20 years of faithful service...ok, they are allowed to retire now I guess lol. Thanks to JetManiac, one order placed Monday night, shipped Tuesday morning and is currently awaiting my arrival to pick up tomorrow morning, 3 days shipping time...JetManiac is the best! But I'm still suffering the deprivation depression type blues. If not for the new mod work I have been into while the cases are open I would have been wandering around aimlessly days ago lol.

That has to be the most graceful way for a crank to go... This is what happened to mine haha
