rear cylinder is fine, front barely runs

Last time I rode, I landed a roll 3/4 around and the ski crapped out like it had water in one cylinder. I was low on gas anyway, so loaded up and went home.

Fast forward, it will run on the rear cylinder fine, with either plug wire, but the front will just barely start and that's only with like 1/2 throttle, and it won't rev up that much on that cylinder.

Compression is 168 front, 172 rear which is about right.

My coil is only 1-2 months old, new MSD plug caps, new plugs, and during troubleshooting I can tell it's all fine.

I'm guessing I need to pull the reeds and head to see if there is any damage to the piston or reeds.

I would check the carbs for sure, almost sounds like low fuel to the front carb since your compression is good, or do a pressure test.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that as well. I'm hoping it's something as simple as a clogged filter, though I have a filter on the supply line too.

That's where I'd start since switching plug wires doesn't make a difference. You might change plugs first just for grins. I assume you've made sure all fuel/pulse lines are good.

You guys called it, throttle plate is out of sync, and I'd assume the coupling is loose.

Well it did it again, and here's the culprit:
