i have sold parts on this site. i prefer to get max dollar out of my stuff instead of giving the brother deal to somebody. i see what some of the fools sell their parts for and i'm not trying to match or beat any price. i dont think 20 bucks is a lot of money or even enough money to waste my time with. if i dont get 100 bucks or more for some part, its not really worth my time. i mind my own business and advise others to do the same, but guys like you just dont listen. i dont care who likes or dislikes me or for what reason. i can and do take care of any problems that may pop up.

No problem. I have been on forums since the dawn of the modern internet and have always understood the "report post" button to be used for people breaking rules of the forum.

Most forums have moderators assigned to subforums in charge of cleaning them up and keeping them current. I guess it's done differently around here. Have a nice day.

Funny, It sure looks like you joined the X in January of 2013. 7 Years after the site started.

The moderators/admins on this site do not get paid. They do it because they like to. Also, The Tech section is comprised of people submitting info, they do so the help out, or when something good comes along, A mod might move something and create a new thread.........

Got a great idea, Why dont you ask the Mods if you can be the moderator for the Tech section, clean it up, update it, and make sure that everything is perfect.........

This site has spoiled me. I've been hunting for weeks for a forum to ask questions and share info for my 59' Biscayne and there just isn't much out there. And there are WAY more impalas / bel airs/ biscaynes out there than there are Standups...

Well I used the search function to see what parts you've sold here but all I found was a set of black jacks that you never actually sold. Maybe you sold them under a different account name? Either way you're full of poop. Its not about max dollar, its because you sell crap and dont want to get the negative feedback here.

its kind of funny , all the guys on that ty PWC forum that hate me, have never bought a thing from me. they are just talkers and instagators just like you. that site has no rules and without rules , its just chaos. the rules on this site are for everybodys benefit. i have broken the rules a few times, not knowing the rules. i have to be careful what i say. i could easily be banned if i said what i'm thinking about you.

This is why I love the X because the mods are all about being fair to everyone and wont have the bashing and **** talking I see on other forums. Also it has been very helpful in wrenching and riding. I would not know half of the things I do today were it not for the X

I got a 55 chevy belair hard top, what do you need to know? I can give you all the bad advice and mis-information you will ever need lol

honestly I have had better luck just doing a google search. weirdest thing so far is that alot of the very good tech info I have come across is from Australia? my speedo makes a grinding noise and I found out how to tear it down and repair it. found some cool tuning tips and found some other stuff. but you are right its not like any big super sites for old cars or chevy's and for as many years as they been around there should be a heap of good info. I have all the assembly manuals and oem service manuals. so if its general info I can maybe give you some cross reference

I have found private sellers and dealers like jetmaniac and thrust that have great parts and ship fast to keep me on the water. I have used the tech section to help me diagnose problems and the pics/video section to get fired up and push my riding ability.

I think you guys are misunderstanding my position. I am an admitted noob to this sport. I come here seeking knowledge for a B1 I have been building. I ask questions and try to learn. I know far less than just about everyone here.

I'm not sure why you guys are giving me attitude when I made a small suggestion that could improve the site. I have nowhere near enough PWC knowledge to moderate any forum here.

You effectively bashed how we moderate the forum here:

I wish the mods here would spend some time going to the Tech FAQ forum and looking at the fact that many threads there are useless because the pics are no longer hosted. Too much time spent on moderating "post dumping"

where that's not the case and that was not the thread topic, so it comes across as just bashing the site from a new guy.

If you have a suggestion, we have a Site Info forum for stuff like that.

You'll be happy to know that someone has offered to help out on the site based on your comments, though not with the Tech FAQ.
