Ride buddy's engine blew today

Whole motor is now scrap as you can imagine

That sucks!!! Was it a built engine or just an oem 701 with bolt ons?

760 top end ported motor. Crank had done easy over 300 hours so he knew it wouldn't have lasted long. He had a spare motor which is already in the ski.

Yes cracked sleeve on last bore

thats wild, looks like it welded the connecting rod to the crank.
