Recommended riding shorts?

Looking for a new pair of riding shorts. When I'm at the lakehouse I like to wear the same thing all day. But I do a lot of different things, mowing, lawn work, working on the dock, fishing, riding, working on the boat, etc.. I'm looking for a pair or 2 of decently heavy duty shorts than wont tear easily and can stand up to constant in-out of water and use, abrasion resistance, etc but still have decent water wicking.

I talked to a guy a few years ago who wore moto shorts, any experience with wearing these while riding?

My Jet Pilot Ride Shorts made it two full summers before I considered replacing with the exact same shorts. I ordered two late last summer, so technically I have a pair in waiting after my second one wears out.
They are stretchy, dry fast, super comfortable(I wore them on a 5 hour car ride home after riding all day at the TCJP sortie). You can find them for around $40.

And they have a liner! I hate classic trunks liners with the holes. These have a nice boxer/brief liner that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin!

^ J/K man, there's been a few times over the years I wished I was wearing compression shorts!

My buddy has been riding in his Jettribe board shorts, they seem to be holding up pretty good.

I refuse to wear a swimsuit without anything underneath lol. And boxers ride up wayyyy to much. Compression shorts are a win win, especially since they'll never come off if you take a crazy high speed spill haha.

Boxer briefs, the only way to go man. Ride shorts rip...in the crotch. Think about that...do you want the people to see Captain Winkey flyin around out there? I know I don't.

Jettribe is hit and miss. Ive got the abrams shorts and the material is pretty harsh on your skin without something underneath down to you knee. It gets a bit better with time but definitely not what I was expecting.
