Redoing superjet tray

I was going to redoing the padding that is currently installed because it is falling apart. I was wondering if I should put footholds or footstraps in while I'm redo it. Are they worth it if I'm not doing anything crazy yet? If they are worth it should I do footholds, footstraps, or both?

What kind of riding do you do? A wider tray is always beneficial. I'm all for footholds.

I like the adjustable footholds from rrp and a front foothold as well.. you get the benefit of good holds that are adjustable and a wider tray too. Plus the buckets that get glassed in are much easier to pad and turf. The front foothold in the photo is a modified "pancake pete" hold but there are others as well.
