i got one on ebay. i bought it to run stock f/a's with an ada head but now im runnin an x motor and dont need it. i heard it helps low end but i doubt its really noticeable

thats for a/m carbs only i think not for stock carbs

They move the reed cage farther away from the turbulence of the crank, a lot of people who run carbon reeds run the spacer plate.

on the Boysean Manfiolds the reed area is machined to countersink the reeds back into the manifold, same effect as the spacer plate......... So, yeah, I would say if they are going to the trouble it works.

chuck i have a std stroke lamey race ported by judge.
i run 47mm full specs, riva intake/spacer and v- for 2 reeds.
do you think one of your spacers would make a difference?

i have been tossing the idea of switching to the angled r&d spacer.
this is for a closed course blaster.

I have 1100 reeds spacer that can be cut to fit the 62 reeds. see pictures.

i only use the angled ones. Longer life, some hp gain, and snap gain as it directs the fuel flow straight into the cases.
