I got a big box of parts from a buddy with my RN hull to turn into a ski. He tells me to install the reed stuffers, but I found what seems to be two, different pairs? Amnyone know what the deal is? They were used with Vforce reeds if it matters...

Those are v-force specific. The two types are to fit different brand manifolds.
if your looking for stuffers for oem T cages? Try to find the Alum Boysene stuffers.
they were the best. The plastic version by r&d and others, would distort their shape with some fuels.
This is one of those parts that is no longer produced. You can still find the plastic version new.
the Alum version is becoming a unicorn

tore down my sisters expert limited sj from 2000, it had said unicorn. then I remembered how the plastic ones warped. Remember one vendor world finals is passing the plastic ones out for free. Crazy I didn’t know the aluminum were not available anymore.

I have the vforce reeds to use with them. He did have oem and then a protec intake manifold so this makes sense.

I am installing a VF3 kit on my Superjet 701 that has minor modifications (MSD, High Flow Filters, Exhaust Sleeve R&D, VF3).
I have a doubt about which of the Stuffers that the Kit brings to install, or not to install any of them since I see that there is a scale that could hinder the flow of gases. Can anyone give me an opinion on which stuffer to install or the option of not installing any of them. Thanks Colleagues.

It makes more sense you when put the different types in the intake manifold then it becomes obvious. As for the ridge, port match it with a dremel.
