what are the best reeds to use for bottom end with stock reed cages?
Here's a quote from Group-K on reeds.
The stock Yamaha reeds and cages have consistently outperformed any aftermarket reeds we have tested. Some aftermarket reeds can offer better power for 20 - 30 operating minutes. However after that amount of time the material "looses its memory" or begins to chip. As this happens, the performance of these weakened aftermarket reeds becomes worse than stock.
There is no way I would ever run a metal reed in one of my motors no matter who says to. I don't care what they are made of, they are going to break some day!
As recommendation from Team Scream, any motor under 850CC preform better with stock reeds.
A mistlike cloud of fuel going the wrong way. Some call it spitback.whats reversion?

well i have v force reeds now cuz that is what the ski came with. but my ski is like a light switch its no power or all power. i have a set of stock cages coming with the stuffers and i want to make sure i have reeds that will give me much smoother power transition.
