Look like carbon tech? If you look through the backside and see light they are starting to wear out or need to be flipped.

Are they the only ones who make carbon reeds?
Well they're not mine, but I might buy them if they're good. They have one small broken chip shown on the bottom pic to the way left. Supposedly they're fairly new tho.

carbon tech reeds dont last forever. they dont last as long as stock reeds and when they are worn out, they perform worse than stock reeds. nick used to make light, meduim and high tension reeds for different applications. not only do you not know what reeds those are, they could be worn out and you cant just flip the petals over and good as new. you will not notice any performance gains with those reeds unless yours are missing petals.

Really, In 2004 I swapped my VForce Reed Cages with Tricky for some OEM Cages and CarbonTech Reeds. I competed all of 2004, took a break racing and competing in 2005, Full Tour in 2006, Competed in 2007 and 2008, Since then I have not ridden that much each summer. But 10 years later, my reeds still look just like they did when I got them.... So, I am going to respectfully disagree about the Carbontechs not lasting..... I would still rather have carbon or fibre reeds over the Stock Metal ones.........

Well I need new reeds anyways. I'm not looking for performance necessarily. Some of my stock ones don't seal good, and some have dents from my motor blowing up and pieces of metal hitting them.
And I'm rebuilding my motor from crank up, and even though the oem ones rarely rarely break from what I hear, I still don't wanna risk it.
I'm going with the new carbon techs from Midlake, because the guy with those reeds won't come down to lower than 40.
