Surf would make it more interesting ,last year it was totally flat which makes racing :sleeping::sleeping::sleeping::sleeping::sleeping:
The hole shot ski won every race I saw .
There's plenty to do for the wife and kids too since it's right on the boardwalk area of Salisbury beach .

Not Yet... If there is no surf, there might not be a pancaker.
But i am hoping there will be !
here's a good webcam of the beach, this is at Hampton Beach just a couple miles up from the race event, you can click the numbers at the top for different views, and you can also move the camera around with the arrows on the top left

Being a surf rider, flat just not fun for me.. I do it here and there.
But to be honost with you, I dont have 10 guys, to get any cash money.
I barely make my mortgage now. Got family coming in from arizona the weekend before staying thru that weekend, Just had truck problems that are over 800 beans that i dont have... so to be honost... Its hard to justify. promoter said he would put up 500 for 10 people. If I dont bring that money, i dont see him putting it up... what if its flat.. What can I do in the flat, barrel roll and maybe pull a double trouble, aa big throw... WOW, that'll blow the socks off the spectors... :spank:
I can go big in the surf and that is my love...
So flatwater... UMmmmmm let me think, NO !

After witnessing the racing in the flat water last year I have to agree with caker .

Early predictions on the surf look very interesting .
Gas prices are killing everyone ,I just put a trailer hitch on my wifes 4 cyl Saturn Vue to tow my ski .She's thrilled .:doh:

All the racers are used to the nice flatwater so it was a bunch of flailing in the water and whining on shore .:shrug:
Flatwater racing is less exciting than watching grass grow .

Word up, I would probably race my SJ just for fun if there was a surf race in FL. My boat topping out at 50mph would not matter, it would be all skill.
